UI Tech Lead

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

● Own and define frontend architecture using React.js / Next.js across client projects
● Lead end-to-end UI delivery ensuring quality, scalability, and timelines
● Act as the primary frontend SPOC for clients, handling requirements, solutioning, and escalations
● Write hands-on code for complex, high-impact UI modules
● Drive performance optimization (Core Web Vitals, SSR/SSG, code splitting, lazy loading)
● Establish and enforce coding standards, best practices, and design systems
● Lead and mentor a team of UI developers, including code reviews and skill development
● Collaborate with backend, UX, QA, and DevOps teams for seamless delivery
● Ensure high code quality, testing practices, and maintainability across projects
● Manage multiple projects and stakeholders, ensuring smooth execution and client satisfaction

WHAT WE NEED IN YOU
● Strong foundation in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3, with a clear understanding of core concepts and
browser fundamentals
● Proven hands-on experience in React.js, including Hooks, component lifecycle, state management, and
performance tuning
● Practical experience with Next.js, covering SSR, SSG, routing, and middleware for building scalable and
SEO-optimized applications
● Ability to design and implement scalable, maintainable frontend architectures for complex applications
● Strong experience in component-driven development, including building and managing reusable design
systems
● Proficiency in state management solutions such as Redux, Zustand, or Context API, with a clear
understanding of when to use each
● Hands-on experience with Code splitting, lazy loading, Rendering optimization and Core Web Vitals
improvement
● Strong experience integrating REST APIs / GraphQL

● Should be actively coding, not just managing and also strong in code reviews, mentoring, and technical
guidance.
● Able to handle complex UI problems and critical modules independently and ability to manage multiple
projects and priorities
● Experience working directly with clients/stakeholders during discussions, demos and escalations.
● Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
● Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments


GOOD TO HAVE
● Exposure to Node.js / Express.js
● Experience with TypeScript
● Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS / Vercel)
● Knowledge of e-commerce or high-traffic applications


QUALIFICATION
● Graduate - BE / Btech or equivalent.
● 7 to 10 years of experience
● Self motivated and quick learner with excellent problem solving skills.
● A good team player with nice communication skills.
● Energy and real passion to work in a startup environment.
