Role Overview
As a Recruitment Consultant – Business Development at Talent Evo, you will manage end-to-end recruitment assignments while also contributing to business growth by acquiring new clients and expanding existing accounts. This role blends recruitment expertise with client acquisition and relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Delivery
Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from requirement intake to offer closure
Understand client hiring needs, role expectations, and organizational culture
Source candidates via job portals, LinkedIn, referrals, and internal databases
Screen, assess, and shortlist candidates based on role fit and competency
Coordinate interviews and provide structured feedback to clients
Ensure a smooth candidate experience and support onboarding
Meet hiring timelines, quality metrics, and closure targets
Business Development & Client Management
Identify and generate new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, and online platforms
Pitch Talent Evo’s recruitment services to prospective clients
Build and maintain strong relationships with HR leaders, founders, and hiring managers
Convert leads into active recruitment mandates
Upsell and cross-sell recruitment solutions to existing clients
Negotiate commercial terms, fees, and service agreements
Maintain a healthy client pipeline and revenue targets
Required Skills & Qualifications
0-3 years of experience in recruitment consulting / staffing / talent acquisition
Proven experience in client acquisition or business development within recruitment
Strong sourcing, screening, and closure skills
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Ability to manage multiple roles, clients, and priorities
Target-driven and commercially aware mindset
Proficiency with ATS, job portals, and LinkedIn sourcing
Preferred Qualifications
Agency recruitment background/ freshers are also welcomed
Experience working with startups, SMEs, or niche hiring segments
Understanding of recruitment metrics, billing cycles, and revenue tracking
