About the Role

The Program Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing complex programs that span multiple projects, teams, and stakeholders. This role ensures alignment with business objectives, drives program success, mitigates risks, and delivers outcomes within scope, timeline, and budget.

Key Responsibilities

Program Planning & Execution

  • Develop comprehensive program plans, including scope, timelines, milestones, dependencies, and resource allocation.
  • Drive end-to-end delivery of programs, ensuring adherence to quality standards and organizational objectives.
  • Coordinate cross-functional project teams to maintain smooth execution and resolve bottlenecks.

Stakeholder & Communication Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for program stakeholders, leadership teams, and clients.
  • Provide clear, timely communication through status updates, dashboards, presentations, and reviews.
  • Manage expectations and ensure alignment between business goals and delivery outcomes.

Risk, Issue & Change Management

  • Identify program risks and issues proactively; develop and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Manage scope changes through a structured change control process.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational governance frameworks and industry best practices.

Budget & Resource Management

  • Oversee program budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with resource managers to ensure optimal staffing and capability mix.
  • Track and manage program costs to deliver within approved budgets.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • Track key program KPIs, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Prepare performance reports for senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Conduct post-program reviews to identify lessons learned and continuous improvement opportunities.

Leadership & Team Collaboration

  • Provide direction, mentorship, and support to project managers and team members.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence across the program.
  • Promote knowledge sharing, process improvements, and best practices.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Engineering, Management, or related field.
  • 12-15 years of experience in program or project management
  • Strong understanding of program governance, SDLC, Agile, and delivery frameworks.
  • Proficiency in program management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Confluence, Power BI).
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree (MBA, MIS, or equivalent).
  • PMP, PgMP, Agile PM, SAFe, or similar certifications.
  • Experience managing multi-project technology or consulting programs.
  • Exposure to cross‑functional global teams and complex client engagements.
