Data / Cloud Engineer, Web3 Data Indexing

The Role: 

We need a Data & Cloud Engineer to manage and optimize our data solutions within the cloud environment. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining data systems that are scalable, secure, and cost-effective. 

 

In this role, you will: 

• Design and implement data architectures on cloud platforms, primarily AWS. 
• Manage data lifecycle, from ingestion to archiving, ensuring data integrity and compliance. 
• Optimize data storage, retrieval, and processing for cost-efficiency and performance. 
• Work with other engineers to integrate cloud solutions into the broader system architecture. 
• Automate deployment and management of infrastructure using tools like Terraform. 
• Monitor system health, performance, and provide insights for continuous improvement. 

You might thrive in this role if you have: 

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field. 
• 4+ years of experience in data engineering with a focus on cloud technologies. 
• Proficiency in Solidity to integrate and work with smart contract and DeFi data systems.
• Proficiency in AWS services related to data management (e.g., S3, RDS, Redshift, DynamoDB). 
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, data pipelines, and ETL processes. 
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines for deployment automation. 
• Strong analytical skills to translate data needs into cloud solutions.
