Job Summary

This role focuses on end-to-end revenue ownership, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and audit readiness of client financials. It supports month-end close, manages WIP and billing processes, and partners with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies. Responsibilities include revenue reconciliation, reporting, forecasting, and maintaining financial controls. The position requires strong attention to detail, ability to manage multiple priorities, and experience in revenue operations, financial reporting, and Excel, ideally within controlled environments and fast-paced, high-accountability settings.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end revenue tracking across assigned clients or business units.

  • Ensure revenue is accurately recorded, supported, and aligned with contracts and POs.

  • Reconcile revenue data to guarantee completeness and financial integrity.

  • Monitor WIP, identify unbilled work, and manage aging balances.

  • Partner with billing and operations teams to ensure timely invoicing.

  • Support month-end and quarter-end close with audit-ready financial data.

  • Maintain and improve revenue tracking tools and processes.

  • Prepare reporting packages and financial control documentation.

  • Collaborate with leadership on revenue forecasting and validation.

  • Identify risks, discrepancies, and process gaps proactively.

  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and revenue recognition standards.

Qualifications and Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in finance, client finance, or revenue operations.

  • Hands-on experience with revenue tracking, WIP management, billing, and financial reporting.

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in fast-paced environments.

  • Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams (finance, operations, billing).

  • Experience working under SOX-controlled environments and understanding of internal controls is a plus.

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel is required.

  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Maconomy) is a plus.
