Weapons of Liberation Hackathon

What is the “Weapons of Liberation” Hackathon? A two-week, virtual, hackathon to build freedom-centric apps on Bitcoin. Teams receive expert mentoring, a BTC prize pool, launch support, and free access to Open Ordinal and other sponsors' stack of tools and services during the build period.

Who can participate?

Anyone, individuals or teams. To access the hackathon mentoring sessions in Tiny Vikings Discord.

Timeline

• Applications open: Now
• Applications deadline: 23:59 UTC, Sunday 21st September 2025
• Project deadline: 23:59 UTC, Sunday 5th October 2025
• Winners announced: 12th October 2025

Idea Submission

• No late or duplicate entries

Build Phase

• 2-week hack window in Tiny Vikings Discord channels with mentor support
• All participants receive fee-waived access to Open Ordinal and other sponsors’ stack of tools and services for the duration of the hackathon
• Open Ordinal stack can be utilized but is not a hard requirement
