How it works?

Step One: Register using the Typeform.

Step Two: Join the Hackathon Telegram Group without fail.

Step Three: Submit your project on Dorahacks via "Submit Buidl".

Note:

• Do ensure your team is active on the official TG group at all times
• Join all hackathon events, workshops and livestreams (Bonus points for maximum attendance)
• "Submit Buidl" based after reading requirements below.

Submission Requirements

All submissions must be made via Dorahacks using "Submit Buidl".

A) Code Repo: Do Submit your Repo Code. Code doesn't need to be public but has to be given to juries and organizing team as and when requested.

B) Working Prototype:

The project must demonstrate core features (e.g., user interaction, data handling (database), or AI integration, blockchain integration)

Any Web3 integrations if applicable (encouraged but not required).

Revenue focused projects will be prioritized

Include basic tests to verify Prototype/ MVP functionality

C) Demo Video:

Upload a public video link (max 5 min. - in English) showcasing project functionality & UX.

Explain how it is unique and related to prediction markets.

D) Project Description (max. 150 words): Brief on project vision, problem solved, and target users

E) Team Info (max. 150 words): Brief about your team's background and expertise

⚙️ Tracks

1) General Track Projects: Any project revolving around prediction markets, be it a tool, integration, API, platform, infrastructure, etc., is welcome to submit. Refer Ideas tab to see some references.

Recommended Prediction Market Themes:

• Protocols / Infrastructure for Prediction Markets
• Social/GenZ
• Creative Thematic Apps

2) YZi Labs Preferred Projects:

• UMA’s Optimistic Oracle (OO), which Polymarket depends on, is decentralized and transparent but slow (24–48h resolution). Opportunity: domain-specific or AI-assisted oracles for faster, contextual resolution. (CZ also mentions prediction market oracles as an opportunity area)- UMA OO can be vulnerable in low-liquidity, low-attention markets. Opportunity: build cross-protocol incentive layers to reward honest disputes, or autonomous dispute-bot networks to detect manipulation.
• Prediction markets still feel like DeFi dApps: complex wallets, bridging, and gas. Opportunity: leverage account abstraction and gasless UX to make prediction markets feel like normal apps.
• Polymarket covers only well-defined, publicly verifiable events. Opportunity: solve for subjective or multi-stage predictions
• Liquidity is spread across many small markets. Opportunity: aggregators, routing layers, or AMM-style liquidity pools to concentrate and reuse capital efficiently.
