MariHacks is Quebec's first and largest annual 2-day hackathon for CEGEP and high school students, hosted at Marianopolis College. We bring together over 200 young developers and technology enthusiasts to create revolutionary software projects in just 24 hours! We thrive to foster an encouraging, beginner-friendly learning environment and to introduce new programmers to the field of software development.DatesThe 9th edition of MariHacks, MariHacks IX, will be held from Friday, April 17th to Saturday, April 18th.EligibilityParticipation in MariHacks IX is limited to registered and accepted CEGEP & high school students.Project Submission and RequirementsAll project submissions must include the corresponding code hosted on GitHub, Gitlab, Bitbucket, or any other suitable code hosting platform. Google Drive folder links will be accepted. Demo videos are optionalPrizesMarihacks IX will recognize the top 2 teams in each advanced track and the top 3 teams in the beginner category, with prizes awarded accordingly.Judging Criteria and Winner SelectionGeneral track projects will be evaluated based on their originality, technical difficulty, usefulness, polish, and wow factor (impressiveness). The judges will score each project according to these criteria to select the winners.
