running under Hack Club (a 501(c)(3) organization), this event is going to be about everything hardware and design, from soldering to designing pcbs to CAD.don't know much about hardware? no worries-- we're going to be running many workshops so even beginners are welcome.this event is going to include a "hardware hackathon"-- a spin off a common software challenge wherein participants create a product over a period of time, and pitch to judges. winners of different categories-- including best representative of theme, rookie award, etc-- will get some cool prizes.we're also going to have fun challenges such as spicy noodle challenge and karaoke if you're looking for some casual fun :)(and don't worry... we're going to have lots of free food)
